Summary: "Paragon Partition Manager Professional"

This is great software that can read, change, copy any partition and be used to transfer an entire disk to a new one without reloading the OS. I've used Paragon software for several years and find it a great solution for working with hard drives. This edition also included a PE version that can load without an OS installed too. Software can also be run by the disk alone without installing the software.

Very Good Disk Partition Software for Microsoft VISTA.
I am an IT technician of 20 years. I have used disk partitioning software and data recovery software for many years now.
In the past I have always relied on PowerQuest Partition Magic, until two things happened...
PowerQuest was acquired by Norton (Symantec) and Microsoft came out with Vista.
I have been looking for a good disk partition software application to work with Vista and be simple to use.
Paragon Partition Manager 9.0 Professional Edition is exactly what I have been looking for. I have used it on Vista 32 bit systems and it works perfectly.
I however suggest to anyone who uses this program to first `fully' read the instructions and `how-to' on the product and its features. Splitting partitions is a no brainer. If you want to move a partition from one sector of the disk to the end of the disk and merge it into the primary OS partition then it gets a bit tricky.
It works everything is possible with this software (as advertised) but if you don't read up on the features you will get stuck or worse destroy your existing OS.
Although there is a safeguard to recover your system if you accidentally kill your OS - I however have not tried to forcibly destroy my OS partition only to test the `recovery' feature....
